Privacy and services

This static site does not require sign-up or maintain an event database. The title, date, time zone, message, venue, address, host and meeting are encoded in the link fragment. Encoding is not encryption: recipients can read, copy and redistribute the data. Links cannot be revoked.

The fragment is not sent with the page’s HTTP request, but scripts in the document can read it. Do not enter confidential information. The countdown uses your device’s clock.

When you switch languages, your draft may be stored temporarily in this tab only to restore the destination form; it is removed on arrival.

Services you choose to use

Maps use public OpenStreetMap tiles, loaded when the location section approaches the viewport. The provider receives tile requests and the site origin, without the path or event data in the referrer header. Clicking Search address sends the entered text to Komoot’s Photon service, which uses OpenStreetMap data. Results stay in this page’s memory for up to 15 minutes to avoid repeated requests. This free search needs no sign-up and may be temporarily unavailable; in that case, use the map or coordinates.

Directions open the OpenStreetMap route planner. Your current location is requested once, only when you choose that action. It stays in memory and is sent to the route planner, without being added to the event, calendar file or metrics.

External meetings and calendars open only when you choose them. The .ics file is created locally; you confirm its import and reminders in your calendar app. The calendar is not synchronized.

Advertising and analytics

Advertising and analytics are disabled by default. No advertising account, publisher ID or analytics destination is configured. Before activating production services, the operator must define the responsible party and contact, markets, provider and applicable consent requirements. This technical information does not replace the operational policy required before activation.
